The Pennsylvania Neurological Society is dedicated to improving the science and practice of neurology in Pennsylvania through education, advocacy, and the exchange of ideas amongst neurologists in innovative and cutting edge neurological advances.
About the Pennsylvania Neurological Society
The Pennsylvania Neurological Society is a 501(c)3 organization. It grew out of an increasing recognition that decisions affecting patient care and providers within the scope of neurology in Pennsylvania often occur with inadequate involvement by neurologists. This can only change when neurological care providers work together to make a difference.
As a result of these needs, and the potential to improve neurology education, collegiality and networking amongst neurologists, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants across the state, the Pennsylvania Neurological Society was born.

- Improve the practice of Neurology and Child Neurology within the state of Pennsylvania.
- Encourage a sense of community and provide networking opportunities between Pennsylvania's adult and child neurology providers.
- Advocate on behalf of patients with neurological disease and enhance public awareness and understanding of neurological disorders.
- Represent Pennsylvania neurologists and their extenders to the public, government, media, and other organizations that involve the practice of neurology.
- Conduct, support and sponsor educational endeavors for its members.
